Community Involvement

 

Start Up Stirling

 

Buchlyvie and Gartmore Churches supports Start Up Stirling, with a collection point in both Churches.

 

Both churches supported the Gate in Alloa for many years providing much produce for redistribution. In September 2022 the Kirk Sessions decided to collect on behalf of Start Up Stirling. For more information visit https://startupstirling.org.uk/

Blythswood Care

The Church supports the Blythswood Care shoebox appeal. 

 

Eco Congregation

Both Buchlyvie and Gartmore churches are signed up as Eco Congregations.

Fairtrade

The Churches encourage support of Fairtrade, wherever possible. 

 

The Church has also supported Fairtrade through the sale of Olive oil from Palestine and Kilombero rice. Buchlyvie and Gartmore Churches in partnership with the local schools have successfully completed at least four 90 Kg Kilombero Rice challenges.
