Installation of the Moderator of the General Assembly

On Saturday 16 May at 11am the Revd Dr Martin Fair was installed as Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.  The ceremony took place in the Assembly Hall with only a few people physically present because of the COVID-19 restrictions, but followed by thousands of people across Scotland and around the world.  Please click on the following link to see the recording...

Christian Aid Week

Christians in Scotland asked to join in prayer on Sundays at 7 p.m.

Working Groups

Buchlyvie and Gartmore Churches are forming 4 joint working groups. All members of the Churches are invited to join one or more of the four working groups. 

Unitary Constitution

Buchlyvie Church have voted to adopt the Unitary Constitution. (Please see Church of Scotland site for more information )

Lenten Walks

A number of the churches in the area meet together each Saturday morning during lent for walks in or around each parish. These walks are open to everyone (and their dogs.) Pictures from previous walks are shown below.

Easter Sunday

An early morning open air service is held every Easter Sunday together with neighbouring churches.
